The Jurnal Medikes (Media Informasi Kesehatan, or Health Information Media) was first published in 2014. This journal releases 2 editions (publications) per year, in April and November. Since 2019, the issued period has changed to May and November.
Since its first publication in 2014, there were 2 reviewers from the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of Banten and 3 reviewers from the outside of the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of Banten. Since 2019, this Journal has added 1 more reviewer from Balitbangkes (dr. Harimat Hendra M.Kes).
