Furthermore, they tend to be less aware of their environment to ignore someone who greets or invites them to talk to them. Adversely, their obsession with games can reduce their interest and learning achievement. In addition, the eagerness to browse the internet to access such videos can preoccupy them so that they much less socialize with their peers or even their parents. The purpose of this study was to observe the role of parents on the growth of preschool children with the use of gadgets at TK AsyiahSukaRamai in Banda Aceh. The research design used in this study was descriptive and correlative. The sample was 40 respondents. The data were collected from 3rd to 6th December 2022 through the use of questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there is a relationship between the role of parents to preschool children with the use of gadgets as a guide with the value of p = 0.020, as an educator with p = 0.020, and as a supervisor with p = 0.001. In addition, there is a relationship between the role of parents as a motivator for preschool children with the influence of gadgets with a value of p = 0.021. It is expected that the result of this research can provide valuable insight to parents in guiding, educating, supervising, and motivating their preschool children's development in this digital era, especially in terms of the negative influence of gadgets.
Fitria Fitria, Rehmaitamalem Rehmaitamalem, Reka Julia Utama ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://jurnal.poltekkesbanten.ac.id/Medikes/article/view/516 Tue, 07 Nov 2023 04:47:02 +0000 TINGKAT LITERASI KESEHATAN DAN HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN DIABETICS SELF MANAGEMENT PADA KLIEN DENGAN DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2 https://jurnal.poltekkesbanten.ac.id/Medikes/article/view/627
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that is gradually contributing as a major cause of mortality and morbidity throughout the world. For women, changing lifestyles can affect reproductive health, one of which is the incidence of Premenstrual Syndrome. Factors affecting premenstrual syndrome can be both internal and external influences. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of premenstrual syndrome during the COVID-19 pandemic in female students at the Polytechnic of Health Banten. This study is a quantitative research using a cross-sectional research design, sampling by random sampling, totaling 120 people consisting of 42 female students majoring in nursing Tangerang, 39 female students majoring in ATLM, and 39 people majoring in midwifery. Data were analyzed using bivariate chi-square analysis, and multivariate using logistic regression. The results showed that the stress level factor was significantly related to the incidence of premenstrual syndrome during the COVID-19 pandemic with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.005). After modeling using multivariate analysis, it was found that dietary factors can increase the risk of twice causing the incidence of premenstrual syndrome during COVID-19 after being controlled by stress level factors.
